About the Artist

​               Semmeria Anderson is a multi talented  multicultural hair artist, known as "Semmeria Scissor Hands Anderson". A Houstonian, she is also a mother of three beautiful children, Michael, Daymion, and Mya. She is well known in the Houston, Stafford, and Sugarland,Texas for her amazing razor cutting skills. She has clients that come from all over the world for her services and caters to the needs of her clients on a individual basis. She knew from a early age that God had given her this talent, and that she would become an amazing hairstylist, gathering a client list of family members and friends, at the tender age of twelve. She graduated from Houston Training Schools in Fifth Ward, Texas, and is now licensed in Texas and California. She feels blessed to be still reaching beyond limits with her Hair Artistry career today as a successful salon owner, educator, and makeup artist. She has traveled the nation to work with other celebrity hair artists and musicians in Hollywood, California, lending her talents as the key hairstylist for the movie, 'Girls in the Game', featuring rap star, TRINA, as well as having styled hair on American Idol, and the 'Looks of Love Celebrity Salon' in Beverly Hills, California. Custom wigs and undetectable hair weaves are a couple of her signature styles. She gives all credit to God and her mother, Mae Belle Johnson, who would be so proud of her.
